Usher Raymond and his ex-wife Tameka Foster are engaged again — in court battles this time for the custody of their two children. TMZ reports that the singer and his professional stylist ex appeared in a Fulton County court room this morning for a custody hearing. A judge ordered the couple to work on a temporary custody agreement in private mediation, and if they fail to do so by sometime this afternoon, a temporary order will be put in place.
Since their custody battles began, Tameka has lambasted the musician claiming that he secretly does drugs and she should therefore be granted full custody. The couple currently shares custody of their sons Naviyd and Usher Raymond V.
The couple wed in 2007 causing controversy for fans of the R&B crooner. Usher fiercely defended his marriage for two years before filing for diovorce in June 2009. Since their divorce, the pair have been battling it out publicly with Tameka claiming various injustices including the singer’s closing of her coveted Saks 5th Avenue credit card and all the “special benefits” that go with it. She later claimed Usher agreed to give her $5,000 a month to pay for nannies for their sons. He failed to do that on several occasions however, and according to Tamekas he’s $34,000 in the hole.-danielle canada
