Let’s be honest, Chris Brown is far — and we mean really far — from being the public’s most beloved star, thanks in part to his controversial love triangle with Rihanna and Karrueche Tran and his recent parking lot brawl with R&B rival Frank Ocean. So, it came as no surprise earlier this week when rumors spread that Adele and Brown were beefing at the Grammys after a photo surfaced of Adele and Brown allegedly bickering. But now, Adele is claiming that the rumors aren’t true and that she and Brown are cool.
In the inflammatory shot, Adele is seen mouth agape, with a serious look on her face as she stands in front of Brown as he looks at her with a face full of exhaustion and confusion. And though there was no recording of the conversation between the two, many believed that Adele was giving Brown a tongue-lashing because he failed to stand and clap with the rest of the crowd as Frank Ocean walked by him to receive his Grammy award.
But Adele recently took to Twitter and snuffed out any rumors of a beef with Brown.
“Chris Brown and I were complimenting each other in that photo actually!” tweeted Adele.
Well, it looks like there’s proof that not everyone in the world hates Brown and this isn’t the first time that two stars have been the victims of beef rumors. Check out some other fake beefs below.
