Two years after their infamous nightclub brawl, it looks like Drake and Chris Brown have buried the hatchet. In an Instagram post by journalist Elliott Wilson, the two stars were pictured in the studio together. The news is a surprise, as Brown and Drake have made their contempt for each other fairly well-known in the time since they engaged in an altercation at Greenhouse in New York City.
At the time that the fight occurred, June of 2012, to be more exact —fans and media speculated that the two had beef because of a mutual affection: pop superstar Rihanna. Of course, months later, Rihanna and Brown reunited as a couple after rumors that she had gone on dates with Drake. Then months after that, Rih-Rih and Chris broke up — with her seeking comfort in the arms of Drizzy, yet again, for a brief time.
Drake then dissed Chris Brown in a 2013 interview when he was asked about his relationship with Rihanna.
“I make better music than [Chris Brown]. I am more popping than him. At one point the woman he loves fell into my lap,” Drake said at the time in an interview with the aforementioned Wilson.
But it looks like that’s all old news now!
