“They’re either talking s— about you or stealing the s— you’re talking … either way the name been poppin,” said Drake as he appeared for the first time since his brawl with Diddy earlier this week.
As previously reported, the Bad Boy allegedly punched Drake in the face at LIV nightclub in Miami after the Young Money rapper disrespected him.
Although early reports claimed the altercation was due to Drake disrespecting Diddy’s girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, recent word on the street is that Diddy has had a grudge against for Drizzy for months now, over a song they both wanted.
According to TMZ, sources say that a producer by the name of Boi-1da gave both Diddy and Drake a track to record on. But Diddy decided to sit on the record, which pushed Drake to go ahead and record his own song, now better known as the Grammy-nominated song “0 to 100/ The Catch Up.”
We get it. Diddy is a little jealous. But a punch to the face?
“I put on a @kevinhart4real hat to eat this room service. I am slowly starting to understand why you constantly wear these. It made my meal feel more exotic. Cheddar was looking more like a provolone or a rare Brie. Thanks Kev,” Drizzy captioned a second image he shared via Instagram as he seemed to laugh off the recent turn of events.
Drake was treated for an old injury to his shoulder that was aggravated when he fell after being punched.
There has been no word whether or not the “0 to 100” recording artist is going to press charges. –ruu hawkins/@ruubabie
