Jay Z took a moment from his family vacation to announce the Northern American dates for his upcoming Magna Carta Holy Grail tour. The 34-city tour will take off in St. Paul, Minnesota on November 30, and will end January 31 in Pennsylvania.

While Jay Z has mentioned the idea of joining back with Kanye West for the Watch the Throne 2 tour, his recent announcement coming within hours of West announcing his own Yeezus tour with Kendrick Lamar has fans noticing that the duo’s competitive streak is still live in effect.  Tickets for Jay Z’s tour will go on sale September 12 at 10am, just one day before Kanye’s ticket sales. Do you think Jay Z was trying to steal Kanye’s shine, or was this all planned from the beginning?

Leave your thoughts below and check out when Jay Z’s Magna Carta Holy Grail tour will be coming to a city near you.
