Jenni Rivera’s family celebrated the life of the Latina singer and businesswoman yesterday at a memorial ceremony held at Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, Calif.
The memorial service (it was not open to the press, but fans were allowed entrance with a $1 ticket) was an emotional ceremony that swung back and forth like a pendulum of pain and pride. That pain and pride bonded Jenni Rivera and her fans throughout her stellar career; as Jenni Rivera’s career soared, her personal relationships crumbled.
