Rihanna–“How Dat Feel Down There On Ya Knees?”
Did a Bajan bad girl known for stirring up drama give a snarky response to Beyoncé’s latest track? That’s the question being asked after an Instagram post from Rihanna raised eyebrows. As previously reported some critics have been none too pleased by Beyoncé’s controversial anthem “Bow Down” where she tells fellow R&B singers to bow in her presence. Especially agitated by the track was Keyshia Cole who was blasted maliciously after expressing her disdain for the song.
Now the latest to come under fire is Rihanna whose social media commentary may or may not have been a warning shot to the superstar songstress. After learning that she had been named Britain’s most influential pop star by U.K. channel, 4Music, Rihanna went to Instagram to gloat.
“I only know how to be number 1!! I could use a challenge,” the singer captioned an article detailing her new top spot. The article also noted that Beyoncé came in at #2 on the list while Katy Perry was in the #4 spot.
Fans quickly noted Rih’s comments including one asking other singers how it “feels down there on their knees”, a possible reference to “Bow Down”? Maybe.
