You have to know when it’s time to throw in the towel.
Singer Robin Thicke is still apparently adamant about winning back his estranged wife, Paula Patton. The high-profile couple have been separated for more than five months now, and Thicke has been pining for Patton to return in a variety of ways; from talking openly about his love for her virtually every interview this year to his awkward performance of “Get Her Back” at the Billboard Awards.
But it looks like Thicke is taking things even further.
The star is reportedly writing and producing an entire album dedicated to winning back Paula Patton. His upcoming seventh album, the followup to his 2013 hit record Blurred Lines, is to be named Paula. He’s pulling out all the stops, but is it getting creepy?
At some point, Thicke will have to accept that Paula Patton isn’t his lady anymore. That day may have come and gone. Not that marriage isn’t worth fighting for, but if you have to resort to over-the-top publicity stunts to get your wife back, maybe it’s best to accept the fact that what you had is now gone.
Time will tell if this latest endeavor works in Robin Thicke’s favor, but if it doesn’t, here’s hoping he gets the message and stops stalking his wife via pop songs.
