The plot thickens.
Pop superstar Justin Bieber has been at the center of a conflict involving his neighbors and his tendency to speed through the gated Calabasas, CA. community in which he lives. The situation came to a head this week when one of those neighbors, former NFL star Keyshawn Johnson, followed Bieber to his home and confronted him after Johnson was outside with his children and saw the singer’s car tearing through the neighborhood again.
Bieber is currently facing reckless driving charges because of the incident.
But despite Johnson’s allegations that Bieber was behind the wheel, the star’s security people are now claiming that he wasn’t the one responsible for the reckless driving. Bieber’s camp says that he wasn’t the driver — it was Bieber’s buddy, Odd Future frontman Tyler, the Creator.
When Johnson came to Bieber’s house to confront him, Bieber supposedly had just hopped into the driver’s seat to park the car the garage — which was allegedly tricky for Tyler because it is a low-riding vehicle.
TMZ reports that video of the incident has not been turned in to the police as of yet; but Keyshawn Johnson adamantly stated that he saw Bieber driving. Of course, if this is proven correct, Bieber is off the hook; but if Bieber’s people are lying, it would appear that they’re attempting to frame Tyler.
