This is proof that you can sue anyone for just about anything …
According to reports, rapper 2 Chainz has come under fire after publicly embarrassing a young woman via YouTube. In the short clip shared on the social media platform, the woman in question, Christine Chisholm, entered a backstage room after claiming she was invited by one of Chainz’s close friends, rapper Cap 1.
Unfortunately for Chisholm, she immediately became the butt of the joke when the Atlanta native referred to her as a “THOT,” an acronym for “that h- over there.” Oddly enough, even after being informed that she was being filmed, Chisholm continued to participate, providing viewers with her Instagram username and a glimpse of her backside.
According to the lawsuit, Chisholm claims that two weeks after the video was posted — and viewed by 10 million people — she was fired from her job at a barbershop. Apparently, her boss thought the video was bad for business. Despite her clear participation in continuing to be filmed “for a blog,” Chisholm claims being called a ho subjected her to harassment and abuse in public and has severely damaged her reputation. She is seeking $5 million in damages..
If you ask us, Chisholm’s case is weak. Not only did she entertain the 37-year-old and the man she claimed invited her backstage, Cap 1, she played cute and coy about the situation. Not once did she appear to be offended or voice that she felt disrespected. We understand that she is embarassed by the footage, but a lawsuit is pushing it. What do you think of Chisholm’s lawsuit?
