Bobbi Kristina is in God’s hand now according to family
Bobbi Kristina Brown, 22, has been moved to hospice care. The only daughter from the marital union of late Grammy Award-winning singer Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive in a bathtub on January 31, 2015 at her Roswell, Georgia condo.
“Despite the great medical care at numerous facilities, Bobbi Kristina Brown’s condition has continued to deteriorate. As of today, she has been moved into hospice care,” read a statement from the family. “We thank everyone for their support and prayers. She is in God’s hands now.”
In April, Cissy Houston, Bobbi Kristina’s grandmother announced there was “global and irreversible brain damage.” It’s language spoken among doctors.
In March, during an interview with WBLS radio station in New York, Houston spoke about Bobbi’s medically induced coma, which she’s been in since January.
“She’s the same,” Houston said. “They’ve moved her now to a place for rehabilitation and, you know, still not a great deal of hope.”
Houston then revealed that she’s made peace with whatever outcome is awaiting her granddaughter.
“I don’t pray like that. I give it to God one time. I know he’s able. I cannot change a thing. I’m asking everybody, pray to the Lord who we know can do something about it,” the mother of the late Whitney Houston said. “If he works a miracle, thank God. If it happens the other way, I’m all right.”
Well, we hope that Bobbi does eventually pull through, but if she doesn’t, it’s good to know that Houston has found some level of peace with what may come.
