The story of Shanesha Taylor has pulled the heartstrings of many after the homeless mother was arrested last week for leaving her two children in the car while she was inside an office park on a job interview.

Taylor was arrested after a bystander heard her 2-year-old and six-month-old crying in the car. After her 45 minute interview, the mother was charged with two felonies of child abuse.

Some feel Taylor committed a serious transgression for leaving her children in the car, while others believed the homeless mother had no choice and was trying to provide food and security with a possible position following the interview.

Amanda Bishop has started a successful fundraiser to aid the homeless mother and her children with her legal bills and other costs. The fundraiser crated under YouCaring.com, has raised over $50,000 for the family.

Taylor remains in jail while her children are in protective custody.
