While the world is still processing the shocking split of superstar couple Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, the soon to be former pair appear to be moving on with ease as it was recently announced that the two will continue creating their joint Latin reality show competition, Q’Viva!
A rep for XIV Entertainment recently explained to Us Weekly that the show will begin production as scheduled this fall.
“Q’Viva! the hotly anticipated 2012 celebration of Latin music, artistry and dance, is set to film this autumn in South America with Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony as previously announced,” said the rep.
Despite the end of their seven-year marriage, both Lopez and Anthony are determined to work together to make Q’Viva! a success.
“Both Jennifer and Mark are committed to the Q’Viva! project and will work on it as planned. The show goes on.” added the rep.
Q’Viva! – The Chosen will serve as the first (and possibly last) joint TV project for Lopez and Anthony, as they tour 21 countries in Latin America in search of up-and-coming talent. The show will also be aided by Simon Fuller, the man behind the mega successful reality show, American Idol.
Hopefully, things won’t be too awkward for Lopez and Anthony on set. Either way, the former pair’s interactions are sure to make for some great TV moments for audiences. –nicholas robinson
