So the infamous face tattoo reappears again on the face of “The Boss” Ricky Rozay. Out of all the places and as if one face tattoo isn’t enough, Rick Ross has inked the logo of his favorite eye wear brand onto his left cheek. AOL’s The Boombox reports that the Maybach Music Group boss has taken the love for his favorite vintage eyewear shades company, Cazal, to the next level by tattooing the brand’s logo below his left eye, near the infamous MMG logo he previously tattooed to his face. And no…it’s not sexy!
The Miami rapper reportedly has an immense vintage collection of the brand, so from now on just call him “Ricky Cazal.” The glasses designed by Cari Zalloni in 1975 were popularized by DMC of Run-DMC in the ’80s , and have long been a popular fashion accessory in the hip-hop community. Now, Rick Ross has made the luxury glasses brand a true staple in his life. I guess the new MMG (Maybach Music Group) G-code is “Live by Cazal, die by Cazal”…now that’s “gangster!” (side-eye)
With popular artists like Gucci Mane making headlines for his outrageous tatted up face , I would hope that parents use instances like these to inform their children of what not to do and also explain to them the difference between the fantasy-like lifestyle of the entertainment industry and the real world. Don’t get me wrong, I love Rick Ross and have always been highly inspired by the Cazal brand eye wear, but whether Ross likes it or not, being one of the most popular artists out right now , he is looked up to by many children and young adults, particularly young men and even some grown men, who take a high interest in his music and Maybach Music culture. And as if the world isn’t materialistic enough, in a way it even seems as if he is praising and encouraging the idea of materialism (blank stare). I mean it is okay to indulge in your favorite fashions but tattooing a fashion label on your body takes the idea of “branding” to an all new “higher” height if you know what I mean. I don’t know, I don’t want to get too deep but let’s be honest, if your son or daughter’s music career doesn’t work out, who’s going to hire them with a tattoo of Gucci or Louis Vuitton plastered on their cheek? But then again no worries, I’m sure Ricky Rozay and his Maybach Music Group team have plenty of positions available.
