There are a multitude of things that comes with an NBA contract. Players in their 20s and early 30s are instant millionaires and are often seen as prey for predatory groupies. Being that most groupies are beautiful women with nice bodies, the majority of NBA players are fascinated by the opportunity of having sex with them.
As a result, many NBA players father babies out of wedlock, marry women who they don’t love or find themselves in divorce court and losing millions once they retire.
