Evidence has surfaced that proves L.A. Clippers owner is a racist who hates black people.
During a heated conversation with his girlfriend, V. Stiviano, Clippers owner Donald Sterling berated her after she took a picture with Magic Johnson and posted it on her Instagram.
Sterling said, “It brothers me a lot that you want to broadcast that you’re associating with black people. Do you have to? You can sleep with black people. You can bring them in, you can do whatever you want. The little I ask you is not to promote it and bring them to my games. You don’t have to yourself, walking with black people. Don’t put [Magic] on an Instagram for the world to have see. And don’t bring him to my games.”
The recording proves that Sterling only views black people as products who can earn his franchise money and credibility. The L.A. Clippers team is headed by a black coach, Doc Rivers, and over 90 percent of the players are black.
Previously, Sterling was accused of racial discrimination by former Clippers executive Elgin Baylor. However, a jury didn’t believe Baylor’s claim.
The NBA must punish Sterling to send a message that racial intolerance will not be allowed in any form.
Sterling and the Clippers organization has yet to comment.
