Tiger Woods swings his way into the record books…again! Woods, 37, became the first person to hit a golf ball from Europe into Asia by way of the famous Bosphorus Bridge in Istanbul on Tuesday, Nov. 5.

Standing on a giant makeshift tee (pictured above), Woods, despite some strong winds, successfully drove several balls across the suspension bridge that links the two continents together.

Woods stunt was aimed to garner attention to the Turkish Open that begins today. The current golf champ will be the only non-European competing in the Turkish Open this year.

When asked about his record breaking swing, Woods said: “To be the first golfer to do this was very cool.” Very cool indeed Mr. Woods! – ruthie hawkins/@ruubabie
