“R&B Divas” will be pulling some old school girl group power for their upcoming season as former Destiny’s Child member LaTavia Roberson and former member of 702, Meelah Williams, have joined the TV One reality show.
According to recent reports, Roberson has officially signed on to star in season three of “R&B Divas” alongside KeKe Wyatt, Monifah, Syleena Johnson and Angie Stone. As we reported earlier this week, Faith Evans and Nicci Gilbert were given the boot and the show was in search for new “talent.”
Also rumored to be joining the cast is Meelah Williams. You may remember her from the hit 90’s R&B group 702. Williams also had a child with R&B singer Musiq Soulchild, who reports say have been living in Atlanta together for quite some time now. Both Williams and Soulchild have already shot some scenes for the show, which returns early next year.
Will “R&B Diva’s” be a hit with their newer “improved” cast? Stay tuned. – ruthie hawkins/@ruubabie
