Double Date Disaster
Feeling a need to try to get everything in the open, Ron called Noel to arrange a double date. Upon arriving, pleasantries were exchanged, and the food was blessed, but then things quickly went left. Ron’s incessant need to “understand” the nature of Noel and Loretta’s relationship grew real tired, real fast. Loretta and Noel were understandably a bit defensive as Ron pounced and insisted that the two were fornicating because there is no marriage there. When Loretta attempted to speak up on their behalf, as previously discussed with Noel, Ron called her a Jezebel and told her that her efforts to control Noel was why she’d never get married. Noel and Loretta attempted several times to explain that their relationship doesn’t involve sex but Ron ignored that part and insisted that with a beautiful woman such as Loretta, something had to be going on. “No ringy, no dingy” was Ron’s catchphrase of the night. Later during the after show the two couples rehashed their point of views for good measure. But the bombshell of the night was when Loretta admitted that she was in fact marriage minded toward Noel and would accept his proposal if he were to offer one.
