“Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice and her family become a prime example of here today, gone tomorrow …
Following years of living large in the spotlight … complete with a massive mansion, luxury whips and international vacations, the Giudice family fortune is crumbling.
After pleading guilty to 41 counts of mail, wire, bank and bankruptcy fraud charges late last month, Teresa and her partner in crime, her husband Joe, have been forced to sell their luxury pad.
“Teresa has hardly any income coming in because of her guilty plea in the federal fraud and conspiracy case,” Radaronline reports. “If it weren’t for the money she’s made from ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey,’ she would be in serious financial trouble right now.”
Unfortunately for Teresa, the drama doesn’t stop there. As previously reported, the Giudices can only afford to pay back $7,500 of the whopping $13 million debt they claimed in their 2009 chapter 7 bankruptcy.
In addition, Teresa is facing up to 27 months in prison, while her husband could serve 46 months in the slammer. As if potentially being homeless isn’t stressful enough. Yikes! – ruthie hawkins/@ruubabie
