Floyd Mayweather may have endured the toughest challenge of his illustrious boxing career. During a 12 round bout against challenger Miguel Cotto at MGM Casino in Las Vegas, Mayweater was flustered at times and bled constantly from the nose and mouth.

However, Mayweather remained focused on his game plan and landed more accurate punches than Cotto and eventually won by a unanimous decision.

After the boxing match, Mayweather called out Manny Pacquiao for refusing to take a drug test. Mayweather believes that Pacquiao takes performing enhancing drugs to gain weight and stay ahead of the competition.

But a potential Mayweather and Pacquiao fight will not occur until the winter of 2012 or the top of 2013. Mayweather will begin a 90-day jail sentence on June 1 for misdemeanor domestic violence on his ex-girlfriend and will lose training time.

For the next two weeks, Mayweather can enjoy the $32 million purse he received from his bout against Cotto.–amir shaw
