Sunday Program: Historic Black Churches in Atlanta

There’s no escaping the importance of the church when telling the story of blacks in America. From the moment the first slave ship arrived, and Christianity was initially implanted into the hearts of the transplanted Africans, the church has served as the indisputable social and spiritual heartbeat of the community.
