Idris Elba welcomes son, Winston
Idris Elba is a father for the second time. The hunky “Luther” star announced Friday that he and his girlfriend, Naiyana Garth, were the proud parents of a baby boy.
“My son Winston Elba was born yesterday..Truly Amazing :-),” he captioned the photo below.
Baby Winston, who is named after Elba’s late father, is the second child for the British actor. His daughter, Isan Elba, is from his previous marriage to Kim Elba.
In a 2013 GQ magazine article, Elba spoke very candidly about previously believing that he fathered another baby boy with unnamed woman until he took a paternity test.
“It wasn’t immediately obvious — well, it was, because he didn’t look like me,” said Elba. “But it wasn’t immediately obvious what had gone down. To be given that, and then have it taken away so harshly was like taking a full-on punch in the face: POW!”
