Rob Kardashian left the public spotlight more than a year ago as he battled not only his growing weight and a reported drug addiction, but also his family who he feuded with on social media. Now, it appears that Kardashian is in a better place mentally and a new report claims that his mother, Kris Jenner, is offering him big bucks to return to “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”
After dropping off of his social media pages for several months, Kardashian recently returned to Instagram and showed off what appears to be a slimmer figure than he had a year ago. According to RadarOnline, sources say that Kardashian is intent on becoming both physically and mentally healthy.
“Rob finally got serious about his fitness [over the summer] and most importantly, dealing with his mental health issues,” the source said. “Once he made progress with a psychotherapist, Rob decided to begin exercising.”
“Watching what he is eating has made a huge difference, and Rob has quickly dropped 25 pounds,” the source said.
And it’s not just fans who are noticing Kardashian’s transformation. The source claims that Jenner has taken notice as well and is happy her son is moving in the right direction.
“Kris is thrilled because frankly, for her, constantly being asked how he was doing was getting embarrassing!” The source said.
“Kris is all about image and having an overweight son was a tarnish on her picture-perfect family,” the source added.
Jenner reportedly thinks it’s time that he returns to the family’s bread and butter, their reality TV show.
“Kris has been so impressed with Rob’s progress, she is offering him $500,000 to return to filming “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” The money wouldn’t be coming directly from Kris, but from the production company,” the source said.
However, the source says that Kardashian isn’t interested in returning to the show.
“He isn’t ready to film ‘KUWTK.’ He doesn’t know if he ever wants to return to the show. He hates how fake it is and how phony his sisters and mom act. He is ready to branch out beyond the reality show,” the source said.
Well, if Kardashian doesn’t come back to the series, we wouldn’t be surprised at all considering how publicly distant he’s been from his family over the past year.
