The grandson of rapper/actor Ice-T is facing murder charges in Atlanta. According to a report by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Elyjah Marrow, 19, killed his roommate Daryus Johnson, 19, by mistake.
Marrow was apparently mishandling a gun when he accidentally pulled the trigger and shot Johnson. After the shooting, Johnson was rushed to WellStar Kennestone Hospital where he later died.
Marrow has been arrested and charged with involuntary manslaughter. He also faces charges of reckless conduct, possession of firearm in the commission of a felony, possession of a stolen firearm, and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
Marrow, who appeared on Ice-T’s reality show, “Ice Loves Coco,” is currently being held in the Cobb County jail. Ice-T has yet to comment on the incident.
