Tamar Braxton Critiques Nicki Minaj’s Hair
When you’re an avid weave and wig wearer, you’re allowed to have an opinion on the tresses of your fellow false hair aficionados, and when your name is Tamar Braxton, there’s a good chance that they might actually listen. Tamar, who’s gearing up for the premiere of her “Vince & Tamar” reality show Thursday, co-hosted this week on “Anderson Live” with Anderson Cooper. While there the daytime host asked Braxton to comment on Nicki Minaj’s hair after a picture was shown of the rapper with a pink, orange and blonde concoction atop her head.
After Anderson himself said that he liked it, the always candid Braxton had this to say; “Well listen, I love Nicki, everybody loves Nicki. I love Nicki and I feel like I can speak about it because I’ve had a couple of bad wig moments myself. That is an atrocity!” After garnering a few laughs from the studio audience she added, “OK, ain’t nobody got time for that! Neon hair?!”
Braxton was later asked by Cooper what brand of weave she wears after a Twitter user posed the question online. After refusing to answer, Braxton tweeted,”FYI: When @anderson asks U 2 send in your question tweets he shouldn’t read what’s the brand name of the weave you wear? #whywegottab#GHETTO?! She later added that she enjoyed her co-hosting duties and gushed that her time with Cooper was “Funners.”
Luckily for Braxton, she has yet to feel the full wrath of Nicki Minaj’s fans for her comments, yet anyway.
