Fans have known for some time that Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker have been working on having a baby together, but on Sunday night’s episode of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Tucker seemed hesitant to expand their family. Now, Burruss is opening up about the scene and explaining how she feels about having a baby.
During Sunday night’s “RHOA,” Tucker explained to Burruss that he wasn’t sure if it was the right time for them to have a baby because they both have extreme work schedules. However, Burruss argued that people make time for the things they want and find important, and having a baby is important to her.
When Burruss addressed the baby issue in an interview for her latest Bravo blog, she explained that she wasn’t hurt by Tucker’s hesitance, but she was somewhat surprised by it.
“Well, yes and no. Yes, because we have had lots of conversations about having more children, but I’m not surprised, because we’ve both been working a lot. So the question always comes up about are we ready to slow everything down to have a baby.”
We’re sure that the couple will eventually come to an agreement about having a baby. Then again, they might just get a surprise bundle of joy before that happens. In the meantime though, they already have their hands full dealing with each of their own daughters, Tucker’s daughter Kaela and Burress’ daughter Riley, who seemed less than thrilled to share space with each other when Kaela moved in.
