Rapper-turned-actor RZA is speaking out about Azealia Banks’ claims that actor Russell Crowe both assaulted her and called her the N-word during an encounter at his Beverly Hills Hotel suite on Saturday, Oct 15.

In a lengthy Facebook post, the Wu-Tang Clan alum admitted that while he played a hand in the event by extending an invite to the “212” rapper, she was completely out of line.

“Before the night is over Azealia is insulting half the room she becomes loud and obnoxious,” RZA wrote. “There was nothing funny about her behavior. I felt a little embarrassed because she was my guest.”

He went on to allege that Banks’ verbal attacks soon became physical. “Azealia threaten (sic) to cut a girl in the face with a glass, then actually grabs a glass and physically attacks for no logical reason. Russell blocked the attack and expelled her from the suite,” The Man with the Iron Fists director continued. “Seeing is believing and I saw her behave as an obnoxious erratic individual and in the circles I frequent this was unprecedented. I was totally puzzled by her and thought maybe meds or booze or something had her zoned out. Nevertheless I made sure she got home safe.”

As previously reported, Banks was among nearly a dozen guests joining Crowe for an intimate dinner party. Eyewitnesses close to the situation told TMZ, that Crowe never called Banks the N-word. But, that it was Banks that sparked the drama when she called him and another guest “boring, white men.” After the (“drunk”) woman came to Crowe’s defense, sources say the 25-year-old became reckless, stating, “You would love it if I broke my glass, stabbed you guys in the throat, and blood would squirt everywhere like some real Tarantino s–t” before throwing in a few racial slurs.

Meanwhile, Banks’ manager Raýmani Zaloumis-Steele told People on Monday, Oct. 17, that the rapper did not start the altercation. “Azealia is not the aggressor in this situation. All of that is fictitious,” Zaloumis-Steele said. “We will tell our side, which is the truth. We have all our bases covered.” Crowe’s rep however, has not yet commented.

Of course, this isn’t the first time Banks has found herself at the center of controversy. She’s had it out with stars like Zayn Malik, Sarah Palin and Disney Channel actress Skai Jackson on social media. Rumors RZA wrote he had “heard [the rumors] of her problems in the industry but disregarded them with the rationality everyone is innocent until proven guilty.”

“My art, talent and success speaks for it self and Azealia’s recent slander of me and self victimization reflect’s (sic) the personality of the person that was in that room that night,” RZA concluded.
