"SEC: 10 New Defensive Starters to Watch"

SEC

Conference Overview: With its talent and depth, the
Southeastern Conference could be the most dominate conference in college
football. Four teams (Florida, Georgia, Auburn and LSU) are predicted to be in
the running for a national championship and Alabama, Tennessee and Arkansas
should also be in position to play for a BCF berth.

Contenders: Florida
Gators: The Gators will have a hard time defending their national championship
with 10 new defensive starters and an often criticized new starting QB, Tim
Tebow. LSU Tigers: Although the team will miss OB JaMarcus Russell, the Tigers
have a veteran defensive staff that is one of the toughest in the nation.
Georgia: With streaky QB Mathew Stafford taking the helm for the Bulldogs, coach
Mark Richt will use his powerful backfield to gain an advantage over opposing
defenses. WR Mohamed Massaquoi should also have a breakout season.

Other
Teams to Watch For: Auburn Tigers, Alabama Crimson Tide, Tennessee Volunteers,
Arkansas Razorbacks and South Carolina Gamecocks

Pretenders: Vanderbilt
Commodores: If the Commodores didn’t have to play in the toughest conference in
the nation, this team could possibly win nine games.

Other Teams:
Mississippi State Bulldogs, Ole Miss Rebels and Kentucky Wildcats. – amir shaw
