5 People Shot After E-40 ConcertGunfire erupted, and several people were reportedly shot outside a Denver nightclub during the early morning hours of Saturday (December 27), following a performance by Bay Area rapper, E-40. 
According to reports, several people opened fire at around 2. a.m., as they exited with a crowd from Denver’s Club Vinyl. Five people were shot during the incident. Four were later released, however, one victim remains in critical condition. 
On Sunday, Denver police still had few details on what happened other than to say that “unknown assailants” shot the five as they walked out of “a local bar.”
The night club was near The Shelter, where Denver Bronco cornerback, Darrent Williams was shot dead as he sat in a limousine on New Year’s Day 2007. 
No arrests have been made in the shooting. E-40 is on tour in support of his latest album, The Ball Street Journal. -j.h.
