She Ruined The Relationship
His confession:The relationship was doomed from the start. It didn’t have to be that way, but how could the outcome be any different when she came to the table with such a messed up attitude? From my end, things appeared to be going great. But not a day passed without her having something negative to say about our “future.” There would be times when I would try to surprise her by being thoughtful, and she would simply respond by saying things like, “How long is this nice guy act going to last? I know it’ll just be a matter of time before you start acting like every other guy.”
Motown Madness
I tried to choke back the vomit of disdain and repugnance that rose steadily through me as I visited a jazz-like club in the most segregated metro area in the country. Predictably, the sounds of classic Michael Jackson songs erupted in the air, creating a dancing delirium among the all-white club goers in Royal Oak, Mich., a trendy suburb north of Detroit. Since I was with a multicultural contingency this day, we were not going to venture inside Detroit city limits under any circumstances.
Dumb Driving
I hate to say that I’m the type to fall prey to road rage, because I’m pretty even keel, but there are some things that piss me off so bad that I can see how people get into confrontations over driving and whatnot. I also understand that a lot of confrontation can be avoided if we allow ourselves to let go of our pride when it is unwarranted. As I said I’m not the easiest person to make angry because I usually try and take the high road and solve problems amicably when they arise. The thing is that I am also a person who thinks about right and wrong and consequences, and I have little patience for those who do not, especially in relative to the safety and wellbeing of others.
Lance Gross Revealed
I guess actor Lance Gross didn’t want his girlfriend/supermodel girlfriend Eva Marcille to take all of the credit when it comes to modeling. So he commissioned celebrity photographer Derek Blanks to help get his sexy swagger on, and the internet has been abuzz ever since. Check out a few pics from the shoot.
Degrassi, Drake, and Hip-Hop Swag
Aubrey Graham.For “Degrassi” fans, the name instantly brings up endearing thoughts of Jimmy, a character they’ve all grown to know and love during his seven year stint on the show. But for underground hip-hop fans, Audrey Graham is nothing more than the government name given to emerging star Drake. Well after hearing this interpretation of Goapele’s “Closer,” I have to say that the hip-hop fans may be on to something. Check it out for yourself and let me know what you think.
