As the holiday season rapidly approaches, a string of feel-good movies from studios are beginning to roll out week by week. This week, Overture Films releases their take on the season with Nothing Like the Holidays starring John Leguizamo and Debra Messing. The story, which focuses on a Puerto Rican family, addresses classic issues that most families must deal with when everyone gathers to celebrate the holiday season. Although the material fails to break any new ground, the characters are brought to life by energetic performances from a very likeable cast. –dewayne rogers
