R&B singer Kelis is pushing the judge to have the divorce from her estranged husband, rapper Nas, finalized immediately.
Obviously, the fact that Nas has been ordered to pay her an estimated $50,000 a month in child support and back spousal support wasn’t enough for the songstress.
“It would be in the best interest of both of us if our marital status is terminated as soon as possible, and wait until later to resolve all other issues,” says Kelis.
Apparently, Ms. Milkshake is not too keen on the idea of duking it out in court for a few years.
Nas is not exactly fighting her decision.
“All I want to do is make music and raise my kids. Nothing else matters,” states Nas.
Seems like the songbird is set on taking her soon to be ex-hubby to the cleaners sooner rather than later. –christian johnson
