There are many places that one could go with this, but in keeping with, “touch not my anointed,” let’s just keep it simple. Prophetess Juanita Bynum has joined forces with Mathew Knowles for a new recording agreement and to grow her “global” brand.
Knowles’ Houston-based Music World Entertainment will house Bynum’s already established Son Flower Records, joining it with the company’s faith-based Spirit Rising imprint. The singer is shooting for a fourth-quarter release of her next album The Diary of Juanita Bynum on the newly-formed joint venture.
Knowles, founder, president and CEO of Music World, released the following statement:
“Dr. Juanita Bynum has built a solid foundation of her ministry, leading the way to her music and literary accomplishments,” he said. “Her global brand potential is extraordinary.”
Minister-singer Bynum hasn’t been much in the public eye since a domestic violence case overshadowed her ministry, which is based in Norcross. She has since divorced and is apparently on a new page, joining with Knowles. Mathew Knowles and Juanita Bynum; a match made in … heaven? –gerald radford
