Jewel-Osco is offering a special bonus for consumers prior to Memorial Day. Shoppers who spend $50 or more in one transaction with their Preferred Card will receive a coupon for 10 percent off their next purchase during the promotional period. The Memorial Day Savings coupons will be issued to Jewel-Osco shoppers between May 20 and May 26. They may be redeemed between May 20 and May 31.
“As we head into the summer months, we wanted to find another way to help our most loyal customers stretch their budgets and realize some additional savings on their grocery purchases,” said Jewel-Osco president Keith Nielsen. “Our Memorial Day Savings promotion will give customers the opportunity to stock up on everyday essentials and put more of their favorite summertime items in their grocery carts for less.”
This should make shopping for the family barbecue and picnic at the park even more exciting, since you can save a little extra cash for other summer essentials like swimwear, sunglasses and season passes to water and amusement parks.
Customers will be also pleased to know that on their next visit to Jewel-Osco, they are in for a few treats which are not available at any other grocery store. They include the Baby Basics products for babies and toddlers; Wild Harvest, organic and natural products, and Culinary Circle, frozen prepared foods along with specialty meats and cheeses. All of the private label brands mentioned are eligible for the 10 percent discount.
No minimum purchase is required to redeem the 10 percent Memorial Day Savings coupon, however only one coupon can be used per transaction. As an added bonus, customers can earn additional Memorial Day Savings coupons when their purchases meet the $50 spending threshold, even if they are using a Memorial Day Savings Coupon in the transaction. –yvette caslin
