The Essence Music Festival recently took place in New Orleans and one night ro had an
opportunity to speak to some of the most beautiful ladies from around the country. Roughly
500,000 people converged on the Crescent City to celebrate a weekend of fun, music and
sisterhood.
With this many sisters in one locale, what better place for ladies to get fashion tips
from other fashion forward sisters — and for brothers to find out how these beautiful ladies like
to be approached? Tough job, but somebody had to do it.
The perfect event to execute this assignment was the official TV One afterparty at Harrah’s Casino. These these three questions were posed to the beautiful and willing participants of our study. Check out what they had to say. –al weems

3. Just be straight up, leave the clever pickup lines at home. ‘How are you, what is your
name,’ works for me.
