Janet Jackson has a new man in her life. She’s reportedly dating Wissam Al Mana, a wealthy industrialist from Qatar (an Arab emirate in the Middle East, and one of the wealthiest countries in the world). 
The two met when he hired her to perform at a private event in the Middle East. Apparently Janet, 44, and her new beau are in love.
There are reports that Wissam has given Janet a list of extravagant gifts including a yacht with a private butler, a Bentley convertible, a pink-gold Cartier bracelet from the Love collection and a Balenciaga Weekender bag.
Wissam, 35, is the managing director of Al Mana Retail, a luxury corporate group in the Middle East and he has homes around the world.
Janet Jackson split from her longtime boyfriend, music mogul Jermaine Dupri, last summer, shortly before the sudden death of her brother, pop god Michael, and was recently seen with Wissam at a fashion show during Paris Fashion Week.
Kudos to Janet Jackson, it seems she has snagged herself a keeper in Wissam Al Mana. Hers is a cougar tale worthy of reporting. –yvette caslin
