Black Kids Continue to Die in Chicago; 8-Year-Old Killed While Jumping Rope

Black on black hatred continues to affect the lives of Chicago’s inner city residents.

On Aug 11.,  8-year-old Tanja Stokes was shot and killed while jumping rope with her 7-year-old cousin, Ariana Jones.

Reportedly, two men on bicycles began shooting as Stokes and Jones played together. Both girls were shot in the head, but Jones injuries were not life-threatening.

Blacks Chicagoans have killed each other at an alarming rate and more kids are becoming casualties. Two weeks ago,13-year-old Robert Freeman was shot 22 times in a case of mistaken identity as he played outside with friends.

Forty-three people were killed in Chicago in July.

Can anything be done to curb the number of blacks who are murdered in Chicago, or is the city beyond hope? –amir shaw
