There’s something to be said for longevity — particularly in the hip-hop world. Artists come and go (think MC Hammer and Master P) but only a select few are able to stand the test of time, continuing to define and redefine their image and perspective to a new audience. West Coast godfather Snoop Dogg may be the prototype when it comes to hip-hop longevity, and as he premiered his new video “Wet” and braced for his 11th studio album, the O.G. took some time to explain his latest effort with rolling out.
“With my new album, I’m always going to be coming with something different and diverse. I just love making music, and love making people dance.”
