Throughout time, man has prided himself on his superior hunting skills, besting the tiniest of fluffy prey to the most ferocious of beasts. All the while, we’ve made legend of these phenomenal feats of strength, skill and genius.
But every dog has its day — and in the case of an unfortunate Belarusian hunter, every fox has its day.
This week, reports came in that a hunter was shot — yes shot — by a fox he was pursuing. The trouble began when the unnamed hunter used a rifle to shoot the fox from afar. Once he got closer, he attempted to complete the mission with the butt of his gun. But, to the hunter’s surprise, the fox fought back and in the ensuing scuffle, the fox pulled the trigger of the man’s gun with its paw, shooting the would-be huntsman in the leg.
After the fox made a hasty escape, the hunter took a decidedly embarrassing trip to the hospital having literally been outfoxed. What the hell? –nicholas robinson
