G.O.O.D Music CEO and rapper Kanye West announced yesterday via his Twitter page that he plans to release a new as yet untitled solo album this summer.
“MY NEW ALBUM COMING THIS SUMMER,” tweeted West.
West’s latest album, the universally acclaimed My Beatiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is still riding high on the charts, having recently reached platinum status.
Besides sharing news of a new album, West also tweeted that fans will see a video for his guest-heavy new single “All The Lights” released soon.
“ALL THE LIGHTS VIDEO IN 1 WEEK!!!!!!,” gushed the rapper.
While fans are sure to be clamoring over the new video, West still has yet to release a completed video for his critically acclaimed single “Monster,” although an unpolished version was released on the Web weeks ago.
Finishing up his twitter announcements, West mentioned the release date for his upcoming collaborative album with his Roc-A-Fella boss, Jay-Z, Watch The Throne. “WATCH THE THRONE COMING IN 2 MONTHS!!!!!!!!,” tweeted the clearly excited West.
Representatives from Def Jam and Roc-A-Fella have yet to confirm these album releases but it seems like the ever-ambitious West is determined to continue his hot streak with this slew of new releases. –nicholas robinson
