Wiz Khalifa has become hip-hop’s most vocal marijuana advocate since the prominent years of rappers such as Snoop Dogg and Devin the Dude.
He has recorded songs professing his love for marijuana; he’s released videos online providing instructions on how to roll a marijuana joint; and he was recently filmed smoking marijuana with Snoop in a Los Angeles nightclub.
So to continue his promotion of marijuana, Wiz Khalifa has decided to name his new album Rolling Papers. An ode to rolling joints, the album will be released on March 29 and feature his certified platinum hit, “Black & Yellow.”
Wiz Khalifa credits his success to smoking marijuana.
“My career really took off when I started smoking papers,” he declared on Ustream.
Wiz Khalifa will be featured on an upcoming cover of rolling out magazine that will hit newsstands in March. –a.r.
