For some people, love is a game and the name of that game is dating. In Speed-Dating, the way to play the dating game according to three friends: Too Cool (Wesley Jonathan), Dog (Chico Benymon) and Beaver (Leonard Armond Robinson), is to get busy with as many women as they possibly can, only they’re not having much luck in that department. So, the guys, who conveniently happen to run a nightclub, start hosting speed-dating events as a way to increase their dating opportunities. The men soon get a reality check from the leading ladies in the film, Elizabeth (Vanessa Simmons), and Danielle (Mekita Faiye). Holly Robinson Pete does an admirable job as the mother of a son who doesn’t know how to love.
