Rapper The Game Banned From Canada Over Gang Affiliation

On Wednesday (April 20), former G-Unit rapper The Game, on his way to Nova Scotia for a performance, was detained for several hours by customs officials in Canada. Now, according to reports, The Game has been deported back to the U.S. and banned from Canada due to the rapper’s alleged gang affiliation with the Bloods.

According to tmz.com, a representative from Substance Entertainment Group, the promotion company responsible for The Game’s Canadian tour, explained that while The Game was en route to Canada, SEG received a call from Canadian customs officials, explaining to the promotion company that The Game would be denied entry into Canada “due to new information received that Game is affiliated with organized crime and is an active member of the Bloods street gang.”

The SEG rep further explained that the promotion company had secured all of The Game’s permits and approvals to get into the country weeks ago and that the rapper’s detainment came as a last minute blindside.

Due to his banning, The Game’s Canadian tour has subsequently been cancelled.
