The Body Shop Launches New Honey Bronze Line and Petitions to Stop Sex Trafficking
The Body Shop

Talking Pretty was invited to The Body Shop at Perimeter mall in Atlanta for the reveal of their new Honey Bronze line. For those who are unaware … The Body Shop has more to offer than just shower and bath goods, they have a plethora of makeup products as well. Celebrity beauty expert Shalini Vadhera was also at the event and gave private beauty consultations with some of The Body Shop’s newest product launches, including the new Honey Bronze line. She also gave  makeovers to myself and other customers browsing through the store, followed by a professional head shot.

Vadhera gave me an effortless, summertime look leaving me glowing throughout the rest of the day. She used the Honey Bronze Brilliance Shimmer, a baked blush, Honey Bronze lip nectar, and finished me off with the Honey Bronze Shimmering dry body oil. I even got tips on how to transition my look from day to nighttime chic all by adding a little extra smudged liner on my lids.

Vadhera explained the meaning and purpose behind the Honey Bronze line that helps to sustain the honey bee population, which has decreased 70 percent since the 1970s.  Without the honeybee, the world’s food source via pollination is under serious threat. This collection not only gives you an opportunity to save the bees, but the cruelty-free moisturizing ingredients will leave you with a natural looking shimmer and glow for the summer.

5 Ways to Help Save the Bees

-Buy fruit and vegetables from stores selling local produce. This encourages and supports local farmers.

-Cultivate a small garden, growing native plants to make it bee-friendly.

-Buy honey that is sourced from beekeepers that don’t kill the bees at the end of each season.

-Resist the temptation to tear up all your weeds. Instead let them grow, especially clover and dandelion.

-Don’t kill the bees! If your garden is attracting swarms of bees, that’s great news. If you are concerned they might sting, contact your local beekeeping association.
