NFL Makeovers: Chad Ochocinco, Donovan McNabb and Reggie Bush Find New Teams After the Lockout

The NFL lockout ended earlier this week after the NFLPA decided to sign the proposal brought forth by the NFL owners. Days after the agreement, teams began shuffling players as if the NFL had become a Fantasy Football league.

Several major NFL players are packing their bags and headed for new destinations.

Chad Ochocinco – The NFL’s most boisterous player was traded from the Cincinnati Bengals to the New England Patriots. Ochocinco will continue to make the game enjoyable, but expect less antics. The Patriots run their team like a fortune 500 company and have veterans that will keep Ochocinco focused on the higher prize of winning a Super Bowl.

Donovan McNabb – The NFL’s third most winning active quarterback was traded by the Washington Redskins to the Minnesota Vikings. After having his worst statistical year and being publicly humiliated by coach Mike Shanahan, a change of scenery could allow McNabb to regain his Pro Bowl form on the field.

Reggie Bush – After a record breaking career at USC, Bush failed to live up to expectations as a New Orleans Saints player. Although he played a tremendous role in helping the team win the Super Bowl in 2009, he gained more publicity for dating Kim Kardashian than his overall play on the field. Bush will play the 2011 season with the Miami Dophins.

More jaw-dropping trades and free agent signing will take place in the upcoming weeks.  Football and fall are both just around the corner. –amir shaw
