Get Bambi Lashes without Mascara
The secret to getting those big doe eyes without the use of mascara is using liner. But the strategic placement is what matters, to get voluminous looking lashes, apply dark brown or black waterproof eyeliner to the upper rim of your eye — not on top of the lashes, but inbetween and underneath them. This gives the illusion of thicker, fuller lashes without having a lined eye.
Go sheer with your foundation
There’s tinted moisturizers, then there’s the trick with mixing your foundation and your moisturizer, but we bet you havn’t heard this one yet. Adding aloe to your foundation gives it excellent slip. Add a half a pea size of aloe to your foundation before you apply or you can apply the aloe to your face and while still dewy, spread on a little foundation.
Eliminate concealer creases with tissue
This beauty tip we owe to Celebrity Makeup Artist Sam Fine. In his DVD, Fine: The Basics of Beauty, Sam says a great way to eliminate those annoying little creases under your eyes is to use tissue. Take a regular tissue and separate the layers of tissue to just one thin layer. After you’ve applied your concealer and before you set it with a setting powder, take the tissue and gently dab underneath your eye to soak up any excess oil. Finish with a setting powder and say goodbye to those creases.
Try a Colored Eyeliner
Changing your eyeliner can make eyes look bigger and brighter. Swap your regular black liner for a plum, olive green, or indigo. Black can sometimes close up the eye and make it appear smaller, because darker colors make the eye recede. Even brown can be a softer color to choose from if more vibrant hues aren’t for you.
