I was minding my own business, I swear I was! I knew that I had to get to the bloggers’ lounge yesterday at Jamie Foster Brown’s Sister 2 Sister Ladies’ Night at Mason Murer. I wanted to look really nice because I was hosting the lounge. My friend, Hair by Mimi, told me to come in yesterday afternoon to get my locks done, and I was a happy camper! My hair was too cute and off I went to the event looking simply fabulous.

I arrived at Mason Murer feeling all pretty with my hair just bouncing and behaving! Gasp! That’s until I entered the venue and saw wall-to-wall people everywhere with hardly any room to breathe. The first thing I thought about was … Oh lawd, I don’t have a relaxer and it’s already humid, the air ain’t cranked high enough! I started to panic as I tried to make my way to the lounge quickly. My hair was swelling all the way to my space, somebody help me! Yikes!

There were so darn many people in that place, I couldn’t see straight! There were fancy clothes, blinged out jewelry, half-naked message dudes walking around, drinks pouring all over the place, chicken wings, toes getting massaged, Lamik makeup, desserts, Dornee beauty products, nails getting painted by Tiny’s Nail Bar, my ADD was kicking in real fast! Boutiques I spotted were: Adrene, Emerlyn & Esther and PNKelephant.

I got a chance to talk with “Basketball Wives,” star Meeka Claxton about her being on the show and the catfights. It was a great interview. Toya stopped by the lounge and I congratulated her on her book being a NY Times best-seller. Other celebrity sightings in the house were: Bobby V, Kandi Burruss, rapper Diamond, Roger Bobb and more. My girl Nikki had Pinkalicious cakeballs for everyone and fellow bloggers, readers and more stopped by for candids. The Sister 2 Sister swag bags were fab, too! It was fun and I’m still trying to figure out what to do with my nap ball, so y’all enjoy the pics and thanks to Mimi, Jamie, Jamahl King and rolling out! I had a Pinkerrifc time!
