There is clearly a lot about Rihanna that we thought we knew, but according to the rock star, we really don’t. In the issue, she discusses her upbringing by her mother and alcoholic, abusive father that triggered her rebellious attitude.
“I saw too much. I was way too mature for my age,” she said.
The Bajan singer also talked about her overly sexy demeanor and the controversy surrounding her music videos like “S&M.” “That’s not me,” she explained. That’s a part I play. You know, like it’s a piece of art … I just want to make music.”
It should be interesting to hear what else she has to say. The issue hits newsstands Oct. 6.
Rihanna can also check an additional accomplishment off her list after having a third commemorative wax figure installed at Madame Tussauds in London.
