Radio celebrity Tom Joyner and his hilarious sidekick, J. Anthony Brown, made a stop in Houston on Friday, Oct. 21 to join another Brown — Melissa Brown of The Home Depot for a wildly productive “Girls’ Night Out” — one of the home improvement giant’s signature events. During the fun-filled evening of do-it-yourself project inspiration, hundreds of participants received great how-to tips for weekend projects like painting, tiling, closet organization and more. Demonstrations by Ryobi Power Tools allowed the attendees to learn how to use power tools by getting hands-on experience in a comfortable setting. Celebrity sightings at the evening event included; radio talk show host Tom Joyner, J. Anthony Brown, and legendary Houston radio personalities Kandi Eastman and Marco Spoon.
